Clifford Chance advised Deutsche Bank, HSBC and Standard Chartered as the joint lead managers on the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's USD1 billion 4.8% 10-year bond issuance. The issuance was done in conjunction with a cash tender offer for outstanding bonds with an option to switch into the new issue or receive cash for notes due in 2016 and 2020.
