On December 19, 2013, affiliates of Westbrook Partners (Westbrook") and HFZ Capital closed the purchase and sale of a four-building, 750-apartment Manhattan rental portfolio for a purchase price of approximately USD600 million. Cravath represented Westbrook in connection with this transaction. The portfolio consists of the Astor, a 12-story, 212-unit building at 235 West 75th Street; the Metro, a 264-unit building at 301 West 53rd Street; the 107-unit LexLofts at 90 Lexington Avenue and the adjacent 88 Lexington Avenue, a 180-unit tower.
