Linklaters advised Canadian real estate company Ivanhoe Cambridge on the sale of the IBC complex in Frankfurt am Main to the RFR Group. The sale was carried out by way of a share deal. The contract has been signed by the parties, and the deal has already been approved by the antitrust authorities. The purchase price is approx. 250 million euros.
Tenants of the triple-section office building with total rental space of around 85,000 square metres include Deutsche Bank, KfW, Degussa Bank GmbH and Universal Investment. The tallest section of the complex, the so-called IBC Tower C, is 112 metres high and has 30 floors.
