Watson Farley Williams advised investment management company ImmobilienWerte Hamburg on the acquisition of the Emaillierwerk shopping centre in Fulda, Germany. The seller is project developer OFB Projektentwicklung (OFB).
Developed by OFB and completed in 2011, the shopping centre, with a retail area of 17,000 sqm and 550 customer parking spaces, has been leased to both specialists and local retail stores on a long-term basis.
WFW provided comprehensive advice to ImmobilienWerte Hamburg on all legal and tax aspects throughout the transaction, including the execution of due diligence, leading contract negotiations, and advising on structuring matters and regulatory issues.
ImmobilienWerte Hamburg (formerly Fondshaus Hamburg) is a joint venture between CJ Ahrenkiel and Hochtief Projektentwicklung.
