Watson Farley Williams advised KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH on the legal and tax aspects regarding of the EUR 65 million financing of two French wind farms developed by power producer and operator Boralex Europe S.A..
Located in the north of France, the Roye and Fortel wind farms each consist of eight GE-wind energy turbines and have a combined capacity of 45.6 MW. The project is being refinanced to a large extent by the KfW Renewable Energies program.
WFW advised KfW IPEX on the financing documentation as well as on all due diligence matters in Germany and France.
