26 Jun 2014 Ladbrokes plc Retail Bonds due 2022

Ladbrokes plc Retail Bonds due 2022 - The Ladbrokes Group plc has issued 5.125 per cent Sterling fixed rate bonds due 2022. Retail bonds and their sub-category mini-bonds are becoming increasingly popular with both issuers and investors, driven on the investor side by retail investors looking for higher yield than that offered by traditional savings products. The London Stock Exchange's Order Book for Retail Bonds has helped by providing additional liquidity. This is Ladbroke's first retail bond, and other household names are expected to come to the market. The bonds were rated BB by Fitch and BB by Standard and Poor's. (Slaughter and May advised the Issuer).
