Ashurst advised UniCredit Bank AG as Mandated Lead Arranger and Documentation Agent for a consortium of banks on the EUR350m facilities agreement for with Koenig and Bauer AG. The financing was Koenig and Bauer's debut in the syndicated credit market.
In addition to a guarantee facility of EUR200m, the syndicated finance included a revolving cash credit facility of EUR150m with an option to increase it by EUR50m. The facilities had a term of five years plus two one-year renewal options up until December 2024. The banking syndicate also included Bayerische Landesbank, Deutsche Bank AG, HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG, LBBW, BNP Paribas and DZ Bank.
