Ashurst has advised Karara Mining Ltd (Karara) on its negotiations for the US$250 million facility agreement provided by financier China Development Bank Corporation (CDB).
The Karara iron ore project is a joint venture between the WA-based Gindalbie Metals and the Chinese-owned Ansteel. With this new US$250 million facility, the total raised by Karara from CDB and other Chinese banks exceeds US$2 billion.
