A consortium between the PKA pension funds and KIRKBI Invest A/S acquired 50% of the Burbo Extension Windfarm under construction in the Irish Sea west of Liverpool.The project included the Turbine Supply Agreement with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind for the first major delivery of the MHI Vestas V164-8,0 MW wind turbine. The purchase price for the 50% share was 6.6 bnDKK which made the transaction the largest ever of its kind between DONG Energy and Danish institutional investors.
