White and Case LLP advised the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) in negotiations with the Government of Egypt to extend a USD200 million loan facility to support micro entrepreneurial projects in Egypt through the Social Fund for Development.
This financial assistance will be directed towards supporting microfinance development in remote and disadvantaged areas throughout Egypt resulting in the creation of 100,000 projects.
