SA, part of the HeidelbergCement group, on its acquisition through subsidiary Inter-Beton SA of a majority stake in Cimescaut SA, one of the oldest companies listed on Euronext Brussels and a prominent player in concrete and aggregates in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the Luxembourg. The acquisition included several carve-out operations and has been followed by a public takeover bid for the remaining shares in Cimescaut SA, which started on June 26, 2014 and will be closed on July 23, 2014. Following the closing of the public takeover bid, Cimenteries C.B.R. SA and Inter-Breton SA., also part of the HeidelbergCement group, will together hold 100 percent of the shares in Cimescaut SA. which will be delisted from Euronext Brussels.
