Cinven/Permira/Mid Europa Acquisition of the Allegro Group - Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa announced the acquisition by funds advised by them of the Allegro Group. Allegro is the largest online marketplace and non-food destination in Poland. The seller was Naspers Limited and the consideration was USD3.253bn. Established in 1999, Allegro has more than 20 million users who carry out 14 million transactions monthly. (Clifford Chance advised the Financial Buyers).
