International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation Short-Term Sukuk Programme - the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation, based in Malaysia but with a number of sovereign shareholders, has sought to fill a gap in the treasury management of Islamic finance institutions by the creation of a short-term sukuk issuance programme. The programme has achieved an A-1+ short-term rating at S&P and will issue tradeable supra-sovereign paper which should be liquid, whilst at the same time meeting the criteria for Islamic finance.
