Cineworld Group Proposed Combination with Cinema City International - The UK's biggest cinema chain is to merge with Cinema City International, listed in Warsaw with a major presence in several CEE countries. The transaction will create a combined group with 201 cinemas and almost 2,000 screens. Cinema City will receive GBP272m in cash and a 25% stake in Cineworld worth GBP231m.  (Slaughter and May advised Cineworld).
